San Diego, CA 7/6/2011 -- Agents from CENTURY 21 Award recently attended Market Connect 2011, held annually by the franchise to provide its members the chance to learn about relevant real estate industry trends, hear from special guest speakers, and showcase company pride. The 2011 celebration was exceptionally jubilant as CENTURY 21 Award had recently been named the #1 CENTURY 21 Franchise Worldwide for 2010.

This year’s event was held at SeaWorld San Diego and Rancho Las Lomas in Orange County. Senior leadership from CENTURY 21® International attended the event to provide insight into the direction of Century 21 Real Estate LLC. Richard Davidson, President and CEO, spoke about the company’s “5 Pillar Strategy,” featuring brand, service, growth, learning, and marketing. Chief Marketing Officer Bev Thorne outlined the 2011 marketing campaign, rebranding CENTURY 21® agents as “Smarter. Bolder. Faster.” than the competition. Also included in the 2011 marketing campaign is a trip to the 2012 Super Bowl, featuring multiple pre-show ads and one featured commercial during the 3rd quarter.
Market Connect 2011 featured keynote speaker Simon Sinek, author of Start with Why, an unconventional perspective that explains why some people and organizations are more innovative, more profitable, and are able to repeat their success over and over. Sinek, who teaches leaders and companies around the world how to inspire, maintains that “the goal is not to surround yourself with people who need what you have; the goal is to surround yourself with people who believe what you believe.”
Over 600 CENTURY 21 Award agents attended Market Connect 2011 in Orange County and San Diego.
