Todd Gloria addresses the agents of CENTURY 21 Award. |
San Diego, CA 9/1/2011 --
Councilmember Todd Gloria of District Three held an open forum with the agents of CENTURY 21 Award recently to discuss the state of the city. A packed room of agents engaged with Gloria on topics including redevelopment, infrastructure, and transportation. Questions ranged from the potential of a new Chargers stadium to the Balboa Park Conservancy to the potential expansion of the trolley system.
The largest focus of the discussion was what CENTURY 21 Award and the real estate industry at large could do to help, a question posed by Ivana Milosevic of the San Diego At Home team. "We are in the same business, truthfully," said Gloria. "We all want a better San Diego, but we can only address the issues that we are aware of." Gloria encouraged the agents to become the eyes on the streets. "If you're out showing property and you see a pothole or other issue, report it. If you feel you are not being heard, reach out to me on
Facebook or
Twitter. We can work together not just to help sell this city, but also to make it better."
